Qina Jita — meaning be strong, boy in Zulu — is a South African NPO equipping boys and men physiologically, socially, spiritually and economically. From Soweto to the Eastern Cape, Limpopo, Free State and North West — no government funding, no shortcuts, just a movement that refuses to leave its boys behind.
A movement born from lived experience.
Neo (Aobakwe Shadrack) Moseta founded Qina Jita out of his own story — growing up without the guidance every boy deserves, watching peers fall into the streets.

The Men’s Imbizo
Our flagship annual gathering. Panel discussions, keynote speakers, storytelling circles, health checks and sport. The 5th Imbizo: “Let the Real Men Rise” — featuring Jerry Mofokeng. Broadcast on Power 98.7.

A structured space addressing absent fathers, identity, mental health, peer pressure and purpose. Held under the banner “Walk With Me.” Real boys. Real stories. Real change.
Youth · CommunitySchool Shoe Campaign
An annual drive ensuring disadvantaged boys in Soweto have proper school shoes. A simple act that tells a boy: you matter. Stationery and cosmetics also donated.
In-Kind DonationsEntrepreneurship Mentorship
Business pitch competitions and coaching for young men. Partners have sponsored business plan development, website creation and ongoing mentorship.
